Hello! My name is Cooper and I am an 8 year old beagle boy that needs to find a new home! I was found as a stray and brought to a shelter in NJ. I was in the shelter for 2 months before I was adopted by some nice people. Unfortunately, it turns out that their 7 cats were not too fond of me moving into their territory. I guess I wasn’t too happy to be around them either, so my next home should probably be free of cats!

I weigh about 38 lbs. and love going for walks, but can sometimes pull hard on the leash when I sniff a great scent ahead of me! I am housetrained and will go to the door to let you know that I have to go potty. I am learning to use a doggie door in Rescue and expect to adjust well to any changes in my new home.

I am a big fan of belly rubs & love to cuddle up right next to people! I also enjoy wrapping myself up in a comforter or towel with only my head sticking out. I get along well with other dogs, but also don’t mind being by myself. If you think that I might fit in well with your family, please contact Penny Angels!

UPDATE: I had to have surgery on 11-14-13 to remove some tumors from my body. On 11-19-13, the biopsy results came back NEGATIVE!! I was so happy to hear the good news!! Now, I can get back to work on finding my new home!!
