This playful tuxedo girl weighs just 8 pounds but has a ton of love to share. She has lots of energy and loves to play with toys; chasing mice and wand toys and finding the hidden toy under the blanket. Then she flops over to be brushed, kissed and petted from tip to tail especially on her belly. Jewel is very gentle and never once has she used her teeth or claws on her humans.

Though Jewel has no outward signs, she was diagnosed with a heart murmur which is from an inherited form of heart disease called HCM (Hypertropic Cardiomyopathy). She just started a daily medication. Her forever family will need to continue her medication and make sure she's monitored by the vet so she lives a long healthy life. Luckily, a Trupanion 90% coverage insurance policy was set up as soon as her foster family started caring for her. The policy will transfer with her to her new owners. Jewel has been spayed and micro-chipped, given all her shots and is litterbox trained.
