Adoption pending! Meet Dexter! He is an adoptable 65-lb, 2-year-old, neutered, microchipped, housetrained, Labrador Retriever / Collie / Hound mix who is up-to-date on all shots. Dexter is described as a social butterfly who loves to play ball! He is a little timid with children, good with strangers, smaller dogs and cats (he lives with two cats and does fine).* He loves to play ball, go for walks, and loves his kong chew toy. Dexter has some ear issues due to allergies and is on a limited-ingredient diet. He comes with his toys, bed and the remainder of his food. Dexter likes to say hello to everyone and has some separation anxiety when his people leave the home. Dexter is a people pleaser who is happy, good natured and just an overall lovely young dog.
*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.
