Bella's Story...
Are you looking for the best cat ever? A cat who loves all people - adults and kids? A cat who is friendly, sweet, kind, mellow and gentle? Who likes other cats too? Then, look no further. You must meet Bella! She is a shorthaired, brown tabby, Abyssinian cat who weighs 6lbs 12oz and is about 1 year old. She's a healthy girl with a friendly, loving personality. She just wants to be a lapcat and is an inside-only kitty. She is so mellow that she'll let you hold her like a baby. Bella is good with other cats and she is very quiet. Not much to say, she's just happy to be loved and well cared for. She enjoys companionship and attention. She uses a litterbox like a good girl and is going to make a very lucky family very happy. So if you’re in need of a loving lap-kitty, look no further! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations and neuter.

Adoption and Foster Care Application

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Troy Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Troy, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
