Meet adoptable Cade! He is a neutered, housetrained, 2-3 year-old black & tan Collie / Shepherd cross who is 40 lbs (and needs to gain a few pounds). They came in as strays and were in a shelter, but they are now SAFE in foster care! Because Cade and Brina are such nice dogs, the shelter asked us to find a home where they can come out of their shell and trust people more. So far, so good as they have been great with kids, completely housetrained, good in the car, very affectionate and reliable in the house (non-destructive when left alone). No other dogs or cats in the home please. * Their foster mom says they have been slowly earning Cade's trust. There were some visitors over the holidays . Cade seemed to really love the children and easily approached them for affection.
*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.
