Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Laila is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Laila is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Laila, please e-mail: amjde@aol.com or call (323) 574-1692.
Laila is a sweet older boxer girl that found herself back at an LA City shelter 6 years after being adopted out as a youngster. She was spayed and micro-chipped when she was originally adopted but her owner of record never responded to a message that she had been found as a stray this past October. We adopted her from the shelter a couple of weeks ago hoping she would be a good companion for our 11 year old male dog, but they are not compatible due to his age and her higher and more playful energy.
We have had her fully medically tested and her teeth cleaned. Her only issue is that she was discovered to have a low thyroid level, which is easily treated with inexpensive medication which we can provide a supply of. She is very easy to take care of and a good watch dog.
We love her very much and want to find a home where she can be inside with her family and receive and give lots of affection.
Come meet Laila and get bundles of kisses and Boxer wiggles and fall in love!
