My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alexi : 1 yr old male Seal Lynx Blue Eyed Snow Bengal
Fostered in Santa Cruz

For Bengal rescue story: http://www.purebredsplus.org/available/bio/malebengals.html

Alexi asked me if I would please mention his special request that he be adopted to a home that keeps pet birds. I didn't exactly say, "When hell freezes over, Alexi !!" but he did get the idea that it wasn't gong to happen. If you keep birds at home, please don't ask to adopt this pretty boy. There has never been a feather that he could resist. Oh my goodness but he goes after feather toys with single minded determination. What an athlete and hunter he is.

Alexi is one of the recently rescued Bengals. You can read the whole story if you go to Purebredplus.org. This breeder bought beautiful queens with Snow Bengal lineage. They produced these extraordinary kittens. This boy is so young, his markings have not darkened yet. He is a teenager and, of course, he is as clueless about the world as teenagers tend to be. He is growing and changing every day and figuring out his place in the scheme of things.

There is no question he is an indefatigable athlete. He also is affectionate and interested in humans especially when he is tired from his exertions playing. Or when they are bringing him food. Right now he is more dominant than not with other cats though that status will change as he grows up. He would probably be a great playmate for a medium to large dog. That would be fun to watch. He could be an only cat if he had a dog companion. I would not suggest he be an only pet in the home. He could enjoy a cat companion if it were the right cat, one as athletic and agile as he..

If you look, you can see he has been ear tipped; the tip of his left ear has been removed.. The rescued Bengal story will help to explain how that happened. Nothing can hide his great beauty. Thank goodness he survived being out on the streets after the fire and we have him safe.

Alexi eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
