This beautiful and gentle lady is Poka, a 7 year old American bulldog/boxer mix that would love a forever home of her own. Poka had a home, but her family turned in due to not having enough room for her. She was turned in with another dog, Padfoot, and the two don't seem to get along well anymore, so we will be looking for a home for Poka where she will be an only pet. Not only did this poor girl have awful flea infestation when she came in, but she was also allowed to get terribly overweight and now needs a good diet and exercise. Poor Poka was a bit down to be uprooted from the only home she's ever known, but she settled in and now enjoys meeting new people, going out for walks, and being treated like the wonderful lady that she is. Poka is so easy going, laid back, and well behaved. She makes friends easily and is so content to go for a leisurely stroll with you, or just sit beside you on a bench and pet her. Poka would love a home with a nice yard to run and exercise in, and with a family that will welcome her with open arms, and love her always.
