My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The father brought Fletcher home as a young pup but soon he was practically abandoned because the owners work from early morning til very late at night and because the wife wanted nothing to do with him. Fletcher was literally brought home only to be neglected, living out side with the only shelter being a shed that the next door neighbors had on their property. The owners did not care that Fletcher was chasing cars- and by the way, live where you can see I-85! The kind neighbors began feeding Fletcher because he was not getting fed properly by his owners. Finally the owners knew he deserved better and mentioned to the neighbor that they wanted to find him a new home. Fletcher was surrendered to the neighbor who contacted Lab Friends and one of their family members is now fostering him. Fletcher is about a year and a half old and is very responsive to correction and training. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes- he is around a pomeranian and a golden and even a cat. He is good with children too. He is starved for attention- if you start petting him and stop, he gently puts his paw up to tell you to keep on giving him love. He needs a home where someone can give him training and attention and exercise and, of course, a fenced yard.
