My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi World,

My name is Buddy and I’m a sweet bichon boy, about three years old and weighing about 17 pounds. I’m a cuddler and a lover, great with people, children, other dogs …. and just about everything (except rabbits and guinea pigs, that is!)

My foster mom says I’m incredibly happy, (she says you can see that in my smile!) playful and VERY smart! I quickly figured out how to use the doggy door (which many fur kids know how to do.) But Mom says that what shows how smart I really am is when I figured out where she put my leash… then brought it to her so she would take me for a walk. (You see I just love to go on walks!) So now, every day, I get my leash and off we go!

Dad says I’m a good natured boy who likes to snuggle and cuddle and that I’m willing to share attention. (I share Dad with my bichon foster sisters and their cocker spaniel – and if everyone is busy I find a way to entertain myself.) Dad says I’m really a great buddy (that’s why he calls me that!) who will sit quietly with you when you read or watch TV.

Most of all I want my own forever home – and a family that would love to snuggle with me and take me for walks and rides. Mom says I would do well in either a home with another dog – or a family that is home a lot! In return, I offer a loving heart, a desire to please and a very sweet kind of energy.
