This incredibly handsome young man is Copper. Copper is a 2 1/2 year old coonhound mix that was turned in to us by his family because they said he needs more room. Although Copper was a bit depressed to be turned in, he is making friends very quickly and realizing he is in good hands. Copper is an absolute sweetheart with such a warm, loving personality. He seems as if he would be a little shy, but once he sniffs you for a second or two, you are his best friend! Within minutes of knowing Copper, he will most likely sit beside you, place his paw on your knee, and hope that you will show him some affection. Copper is a gentle boy with good manners. He sits perfectly when asked and walks nicely on a leash. He is loving his time on our giant exercise yard and enjoys running a lap or two, and also gets a kick out of our many toys that are up for grabs. Copper will pick a toy and bring it to you to throw for him but after a couple of chases, he comes right back to sit beside you and get attention. Copper doesn't seem to mind other dogs and just loves people of all ages. He would make a wonderful addition to any good family that promises to love and care for him always. File#23125 11/14/13
