My story

Hi. My name is Buddy Elf and I am a 5 yr. old beagle boy. I lived in 2 homes during the past 3 years and was shuffled around between them. I was finally sent to Penny Angels because a new baby came along and he was allergic to me. If Penny Angels hadn’t agreed to take me, I would’ve ended up back in a shelter and it would not have been a good outcome for me. Lucky for me, I now have a chance at finding my true forever home!!

I am a laid back boy that doesn’t cause any trouble. In fact, I will run the other way if trouble comes knocking! I am a short beagle, but I am a bit overweight; I weigh about 38 lbs. now and would benefit from losing a few of those extra lbs. I am housetrained, which is always a good thing! I get along well with kids and I love the other beagles in Rescue! I enjoy going for walks and would be very happy to walk in my new home for Christmas!! If you are interested in adding a dog to your family this holiday season, please think of me!!
