Rescue FAQs

We rescue stray and abandoned companion animals in the San Antonio, TX area and match them with suitable adopters, both locally and through our partner rescue groups in Hartford, CT. Many of our pets find their forever homes long-distance, in areas where homeless pet overpopulation is not an epidemic. For these adoptions, we partner with other rescue groups to find the best possible matches for our pets, and other organizations specializing in the transport of rescued animals.

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters may submit an adoption application. Once reviewed and approved, a home visit by our team or a proxy team will be done. Adoption fees vary for local adoptions and long-distance adoptions.
