Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!
- Interview
- Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.
- Home Check
- Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.
- Approve Application
- After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.
- Take the Pet Home
- We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.
- Pay Fee
- After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!
