Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationMost of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!
- InterviewDepending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.
- Home CheckQuick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.
- Approve ApplicationAfter you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.
- Take the Pet HomeWe require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.
- Sign Adoption ContractAfter the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.
- Pay FeeAfter the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!

Our support does not end at adoption. We continue to offer donation-based post-adoption services to help the new family. <3
