Rescue FAQs

Bella Vita Animal Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit. All of our funding comes from donations and our own personal wallets. Your donation is tax-deductible and will make a huge difference in the life of a homeless animal. We are a small group of volunteers who do this in our spare time because of our love for the furry things in life. Specializing in cats, the pets in our adoption program live in foster homes; we do not have a facility. We are based in Statesville, North Carolina, but service all of Iredell County.

Additional adoption info

Apply to adopt on our website www.bellavitanc.org
*Fully vetted includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, microchip & registration, age-appropriate distemper vaccines, de-wormer, flea & tick treatment, and FIV/FeLV test.
It’s true, there is no such thing as a free pet. But adoption should be affordable for everyone!
Did you know cats do better in pairs? Young kittens learn important social skills through play and interaction with other kitties. They also keep each-other company so they won’t get lonely while you’re at work!
