Rescue FAQs
We are a non-profit 501c3 cat oriented licensed foster based rescue in the KCMO metro area. Tee started out as a pre-teen volunteering for her local humane society. Upon working age Tee then became an employee and has not looked back since. After working in the shelter medical field and in private veterinary offices as a veterinarian technician Tee realized the need to do something "more" to help cats in need and thus Tees Meow was born. Originally Tees Meow was strictly TNR and did not do fostering or adoptions. We have excitedly branched out now and look forward to helping you find your next forever friend.
We serve all of the greater Kansas City, Missouri area and beyond if needed.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- You do not have to have a specific cat or kitten that you are interested in.
- Interview
- Our interview process is very easy. We look forward to talking with you. This can be done over the phone or in person.
- Approve Application
- We will approve the application once references and the interview are complete.
- Meet the Pet
- We will work with you to secure a space for you to meet your potential cat or kitten.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- You will sign to take ownership of your new cat or kitten.
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet Home
