Rescue FAQs

Last Chance for Korean Dogs (LCKD) is a non-profit dog rescue organization based in South Korea. We are a 100% volunteer-run organization and we are dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia in high-kill shelters and the brutal dog meat trade. After the rescue, we provide the medical care and rehabilitate the dogs at our office, foster homes, and training facility in South Korea until they are healthy enough to be sent for adoption to loving homes in the United States, Canada and Europe.
We serve the following major cities and their surrounding areas: - Los Angeles (LA) - New York City (NYC) - Seattle - Boston - San Francisco - EU countries

Additional adoption info

All canines entering the U.S. must have health certificates and a Permit Entry issued by The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and an entry number issued by The Department of Homeland Security. Our volunteers will prepare all the necessary paperwork.

The health certificates are in both Korean and English so you can show the health certificate to your veterinarian.
