The Underdog Division, Inc. is a purpose-driven, grassroots rescue and rehabilitation initiative committed to giving second chances to the dogs most often overlooked—those impacted by behavior challenges, breed stigma, or a history of neglect. Founded by a team of seasoned dog trainers, animal advocates, and community organizers, our mission is simple but powerful: Rescue, Rebuild, Rehome. We specialize in behavior-focused rehabilitation, structured decompression, and proactive adopter education to set each dog up for long-term success. Our focus isn’t on high-volume turnover—we prioritize quality placements and individualized care. From court-case survivors to dogs labeled “unadoptable,” we believe every underdog deserves to be seen, supported, and set up to thrive. As the nonprofit arm of K9netic Pack, we are powered by professional trainers, compassionate volunteers, and a commitment to excellence in animal care. We operate out of Poolesville, MD and serve the greater DMV region. While small in size, we’re mighty in impact—placing dogs not just into homes, but into lives ready to lead with patience and purpose.
