Rescue FAQs

Established in 2021, Hermione's Home is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. At Hermione's Home we believe that every cat deserves a fighting chance. We put all of our efforts into finding homes and providing medical care for abandoned, unwanted, homeless cats. We are able to do this because of our amazing supporters and our incredible foster homes. The founder and owner of Hermione's Home, Ashley Knapik have been involved in cat rescue since 2014. After the loss of her beloved tortie, Hermione, shefostered and found homes for many cats with the support of various rescues. In 2021, in the midst of pursuing her MBA, Ashley decided it was time to make a bigger impact by opening her own foster-based rescue, in the name of her best friend, Hermione.
All of CT, we also pull from NYC & MS.
