Rescue FAQs

American Brittany Rescue is a nationwide volunteer organization. We take in homeless, stray, abandoned Brittanys; put them into foster care; get all their vet work done and any necessary rehabilitation; then start interviewing prospective families for them. All Brittanys are spay/neutered, HW tested and completely evaluated before placement. Many of our dogs hunt in their new homes, but our primary concern is that they be well loved family members

Additional adoption info

Applicants are asked to do our online application form which asks for information about you, what you're looking for in a dog and references. We will do a home visit, a vet reference check and then match you with the right dog. Adopters are asked to make a tax deductible donation to rescue upon being matched with a dog.
