Rescue FAQs

SLAM Rescue is a small group of dedicated volunteers working together to rescue lost, abandoned and abused animals in the mountain communities of Frazier Park. We have a small network of foster homes and rely solely on donations from the public to support the animals that come into our care. An aggressive spay/neuter program is one of our main focuses.

Additional adoption info

We have a comprehensive adoption application designed to help you choose the right pet for your home. The application can generally be processed within 24 hours. Adoption donation for cats and kittens is $95 and range between $125-$195 for dogs depending upon age, size and breed. The donation includes spay/neuter, the complete series of basic vaccinations, dewormings and a general health check.
