Rescue FAQs

Robyn's Nest is a non-profit animal rescue and adoption organization. It is operated by Robyn McGeorge, a registered veterinary technician. She graduated with an associate of applied science in veterinary technology in 1994 from Raymond Walters College, University of Cincinnati. She has worked at the same small animal practice since graduation and created Robyn's Nest June 17, 2005. We offer animals for adoption, including pot bellied pigs, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, mice, hamsters, chinchillas, ferrets, and gerbils. We have grooming services, pet boarding, microchipping, and pet supplies and gifts. We invite you to visit our website. Feel free to contact us, and, if you can, make a tax-deductible donation. The animals thank you.
We will adopt to any location, but the adopter must pick up the pet in person.

PANDEMIC UPDATE. “Due to the pandemic, we are asking anyone who is interested in adoption to fill out an application at www.robynsnestrescue.com/adoption-form prior to meeting an animal. We will check references and then contact you to discuss the application before scheduling an appointment to meet the animal. This will decrease the amount of foot traffic in the rescue and in our foster’s homes. Thank you for understanding!  Please feel free to call the rescue a time for more information at 937-247-9272.”
