My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ms. Mila May, a sweet, beautiful senior white Pitbull who is approximately 11 years old and only weighs 50 pounds. We know that Mila had a rough life before coming to AAP and foster life. She likes everyone she meets, including children and will hang out with her dog buddies. Mila is a little too interested in cats, so would do best in a home without cats. Mila would like nothing better than to retire with her new forever family, that will love her unconditionally. She will happily binge watch TV and eat junk food with you. She is also will also happily sit through those long, boring conference calls, quietly snoozing away. Mila is not a fan of car rides but does like to take walks and meet new people. If you are looking for an easy companion, Mila May is your girl. If Mila's unconditional love and gratitude sounds like your perfect companion, please apply today! Her adoption fee is $200. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Mila is part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If she is adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor her adoption fee and she will come with six months of heartworm prevention.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
