Additional adoption info
If you are interested in adopting a pet on our site, please contact us for an adoption application. The adoption application is required before you can adopt a pet. This is for you and your family’s benefit and the pet's benefit. The application tells us about the applicant and helps guide us in placing the correct animal in the right forever home. Once a COMPLETED application is received, a representative of TCACS will review your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. TCACS reserves the right to refuse an application. By filling out an application, you are not obligated to adopt an animal from us and you are not guaranteed one of ours. It normally takes 2-10 days to process the application. There is a $60 adoption fee, and you are required to get the pet altered, heartworm checked, and up to date on shots. Once this is done, you will recieve a $30 refund from your origional $60.
