We require that you reside in the state of California. Afghan Hound Rescue of California does NOT fly our rescues nor transport out of the state. A home visit is required and all applicants are responsible for meeting their new family member at the fostering familys home.

Afghan Hound Rescue of California is a volunteer organization dedicated to saving Afghan Hounds from homelessness and euthanasia.

In addition to re homing displaced Afghan Hounds, our volunteers strive to educate their communities about the breed and the importance of being a responsible pet owner.
