Boomers Wish

We are a Not for Profit foster only based rescue! We are a small group of volunteers who rescue dogs from puppy mills, pounds, and also take in owner surrenders! We have all dogs vetted and they are then rehabilitated in our foster homes until they are ready to be adopted into their new forever homes. Boomers wish was named after a boxer that was rescued from a puppy mill. He came to us so scared that it took weeks before he would even stand straight up! There is no attention or vet care put into the dogs living in these mills! We are here to educate the public on the dogs living in these horrid conditions. A puppy mill is a mass breeding facility that breeds just for profit and sells there pups to pet stores to be sold to the public. When a person buys a dog from a pet store such as petland they contribute to the continued suffering of the adults being bred in the mills! We believe that if Boomer were to have one wish it would be that these places cease to exist and we are here to do what we can to help make that possible! So please adopt from your local shelters and rescues and do not shop in pet stores for your new puppy! There are many purebreds as well as mixed breeds being euthanized in shelters every day due to the lack of homes..
