Rescue FAQs
All of our dogs live in volunteer foster homes! We don't have a shelter or facility. We get our dogs primarily from shelters in Ohio and Kentucky where they were at risk of being euthanized. Our organization is purely a volunteer organization who love shelter animals and truly believe they deserve a second chance at happiness and love. Our adoption area is within 2 hours drive time of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio (use google maps to see if you are within our area). NO EXCEPTIONS.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationGo to our website and submit an application. It does not obligate you to adopt. Our website is www.RecycledDoggies.org
- Approve ApplicationWe will email you once we have reviewed your application to let you know if you are approved.
- Meet the PetWe will schedule a meeting once the application has been approved.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay FeeWe accept cash or credit/debit cards as payment.
Additional adoption info
All our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative (tested if over 9 months), and microchipped. We require that anyone interested in adopting submit an adoption application ahead of time.
