Additional adoption info

Adopting a friend
We do our best to keep the adoption fees as low as possible but this is how we cover our expenses. All Adoption fees depend on breed, age, and needed health care. The fees include getting them up to date on wormings and their 5 way shots. If dogs are 6 months or older we do rabies vaccines and if we do not know their past history they will be heartworm tested also. Most of our dogs over six months are spayed and neutered. Those that are not we will require you to sign a spay/neuter contract agreeing to have him or her done within a reasonable time or at six months of age. We also administer heartworm preventive and flea preventive depending on age.

All adopters must fill out an application. Please see listed below an application. You may copy this application, paste into an email, fill it out completely, and send it here to be processed. Email application to angelshavenrescue@hotmail.com

Adoption Application
We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason if we feel the needs of the dog will not be properly met or the adoption is not in the best interest of the dog.

Please make sure you completely fill out the application before submitting it to us.

The application and adoption processes are designed to match appropriate homes with appropriate dogs. While many dogs may be attractive to the eye, we are very careful to understand the lifestyle of each adopter since we clearly understand the individual needs of dogs in our care.

We do not ship dogs; we require that the applicant come to meet the dog and us before an adoption will be made.

Our goal is to place dogs in happy, forever homes where the adopting party and dogs are both winners.
