Areas Safe Place for Pets Serves

Safe Place for Pets is based in Colorado Springs, CO and we rescue the pets of terminally ill individuals in El Paso and Teller Counties.

Safe Place for Pets's Adoption Process

Please check out our available pets and contact us to let us know which one(s) interest you. We'll arrange a site visit to your home and a meet-and-greet with your prospective pet once we have had a phone chat to determine if our rescue pet is a good fit for you and you for him/her. If you and the pet decide it's true love, we'll have you fill out an adoption contract and ask for an adoption donation (rather than a fee) of $100 per cat and $200 per dog. A certificate of adoption is mailed to you once the process is complete.
