Taber's Helping Paw

We are an all volunteer group that helps local city shelters. We have also answered the call on craigslist and have taken in many homeless animals, some felines with kittens whom we care for until they are old enough to be adopted out. Our group gets many animals vetted from simple check ups to fracture surgery. We want to send out healthy animals. We also want to educate people from caring for their new pet to why it is important to have their pet spay or neutered. Our volunteers have similar aspirations, to make a significant difference to the animals who reside in shelters. For the love of animals...is there another reason?

We are located near Metro Airport and have easy access from I-94 and I-275. We do run off-site adoptions to make weekend adoptions easier for the public wanting to help a homeless and/or shelter animal. We have taken in shelter and homeless animals from Romulus, Garden City and Taylor..
