Rescue FAQs

We are an Animal Rescue Group. Our primary focus is to help to save animals who may be killed without our intervention. They often come from high kill facilities, abusive, or abandonment situations.

We have a strong commitment to reducing the numbers of animals in need, and require all rescued animals to be spayed or neutered, unless medically prohibited by a veterinarian. We endorse the dissemination of animal education and humane husbandry practices.

We work very closely with other rescues and no-kill shelters who share our mission. We raise money to pay for, or arrange foster care, transportation, and medical treatment. Our goal is successful permanent home placement.
We are a rescue group based out of NJ but have a network of people from a few states. We are able to transport usually up and down east coast.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
  2. Approve Application
    1. Actually this step is for the rescue to determine application (approve/disapprove). We are careful to whom we adopt.
  3. Home Check

Additional adoption info

We have interested adopters fill out an adoption application and after all references and home visit is done we follow up with a meet/greet to see how the dog would fit with the family or other animals in the household. If everything checks out and we feel the home is a good fit for the dog we have a contract for the adopters to sign. The adoption fee for adult dogs is $350 and for unaltered puppies its $300 with $100 deposit that is returned when spay/neuter is done at the appropriate age.
