Additional adoption info
Adoption fees vary based on the age of the animals. Puppies and kittens under six months are $135 for dogs and $75 for cats. Dogs and cats between six months and four years are $75 and $50, respectively. For pets aged four to six years, adoption fees are half the standard price. Dogs and cats over six years adoption fees are completely waived. Many of the animals' adoption fees have been sponsored by animal lovers or discounted for special circumstances such as for senior pets, or pets that have had longer shelter stays. Renters must have landlord approval. An adoption application is required and a dog introduction is required for dog adoptions into homes with other dogs.
