Areas Burlington Animal Services Serves

Burlington Animal Services is a division of the City of Burlington and is responsible for enforcement of laws pertaining to animal issues in the City of Burlington as well as providing public animal sheltering and pet adoption services for all of Alamance County.

Burlington Animal Services's Adoption Process

Adopting a pet is easy at Burlington Animal Services! Most pets can go home the same day! Adoption fees are $90 for dogs, $50 for cats and other pets vary from $5 and up depending on type of pet. We also hold several adoption specials throughout the year during which our already low fees are reduced! We also offer special discounts for seniors citizens and Veterans.

The adoption center is open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm.
