We are the county municipal shelter for Bay County Michigan. We have 3 officers 2 part time kennel attendants, 1 full time clerk, and a shelter manager. We do work with other shelters and rescues to get all adoptable pets a chance at a new permanent home.
Bay County which includes the following cities & towns Bay City, Kawkawlin, Linwood, Pinconning, Munger, Essexville, Auburn, Bentley & part of both Standish & Midland. We cover the following townships; Bangor, Beaver, Frankenlust, Fraser, Garfield, Gibson, Hampton, Kawkawlin, Merrit, Monitor, Mt Forest, Pinconning, Portsmith, & Williams,

Additional adoption info

$27.00 to adopt,if the animal is not already sterilized you will be required to prepay to the veterinarian of your choice for sterilization & rabies vaccination, bring the receipt into the shelter to show us you did and you can adopt the dog or cat.You will sign a contract stating you will make sure the animal has proper food, water shelter, will be sterilized and vaccinated. You do have 7 business days that if this does not work out you can bring the animal back to us.
