We handle most of our pet adoptions within 2 hours of Cincinnati; however, we do consider long distance or out of state adoptions on a case by case basis.

We do include home visits as part of our adoptions process. If you have any questions you can email us at any time, we do receive many emails so please allow us ample time to reply - often times we are working, working our dogs and foster dogs, or handling our other commitments before we have time to answer emails.

AP Working Dogs was started in order to rescue working quality dogs and find them working homes. We have since expended our mission to include rescuing and placing pet dogs in their perfect forever homes too.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
