Rescue FAQs

Furrever Family is a Bloomington-Normal based animal rescue organization aimed at rescuing, fostering and adopting out animals in need. Most of our animals come from animal control facilities or are unwanted pets that have been dumped or left behind by their owners. We are a 501c3 certified non-profit, volunteer only organization, and take great pride in being a no-kill rescue that saves animals primarily from our own community. Furrever Family does adopt out of state, but all of our rescue cats and dogs come from within the state of Illinois.
We are based in Bloomington-Normal and only rescue Illinois cats and dogs in need, but will adopt nationwide.

Additional adoption info

Free applications must be filled out and approved prior to scheduling meet and greets. Each adoption fee will vary based on the animal as there is no set fee schedule.
