4. Sign Adoption Contract

Contract state dogs will be well-cared for and loved. If a dog is no longer wanted, they must be returned or offered in writing to HFP.

5. Take the Pet Home

Begin your trial, foster-to-adopt, or go home with your forever pet potentially the same day!

We offer prompt, SCHEDULED Meet & Greets by appointment only.

Our 2-step process makes it easy for you to meet your new best friend!
1. Fill out Adoption Form at (www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/adopt)
2. * If it sounds like a match, we will promptly set a time at the ranch or at the foster family's home/agreed upon location.

For some of our dogs, we offer
1) Adoption trials of 3-7 days (suggested $75 donation; if you adopt will go to total donation cost. If you do not we will keep this as a donation to the rescue)
2) Foster-to-Adopt: priority 3-5 priority period to decide if it's a forever match. If you decide it is not, we will list the animal and ask you to continue to foster until we can find a forever home.

If we AND you feel the dog is right for your family, adoption will be formalized!

Our adoption donation is a suggested $250 starting donation for dogs 6 months and over, $375 for puppies 2-5 months. (Donations that exceed this amount are graciously accepted & help us continue to save dogs in need.) NOTE: The suggested donation request may be higher or lower depending on the individual dog -- demand, cost, etc. Many dogs are also sponsored & have lowered adoption donations!!

Our number one goal is to adopt good dogs to great homes, so that no dog is left behind. Our animals are spayed/neutered (or will be released with a voucher and agreement to provide proof of certificate within 30 days or vet-approved date).

We wish for our rescue dogs to be fully immersed in your lives, and be treated like true, loved members of the family.

All Adopters must sign a waiver release/memorandum of Understanding with completion of Adoption.
