Rescue FAQs

Lifesavers: Skylyr’s Passion, LSP, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping pets help people and people help pets. LSP was founded in 2012 to give homeless pets a chance at the life they deserve and give people that want them an opportunity to find them. We focus on matching homeless pets with potential adoptive families. This has resulted in some amazing results: We have many adoptions that have the humans telling us that they are thrilled to have found the pet they adopted. And the pets are equally thrilled with the homes they have found. We are just people who happen to love animals and believe that unwanted pets deserve a chance. We have developed a network of amazing like-minded people who foster, transport, volunteer, and support. The end result is that we are making a difference! We invite you to become part of the team. It is fun and very rewarding

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please submit an application by emailing Lifesaversapps@outlook.com We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then schedule a home visit. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $400.00 for adults and $500.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs temperaments in order to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England! For more info please email Lifesaversapps@outlook.com
