Rescue FAQs
We are a small, multiple breed rescue, with emphasis on Labrador Retrievers, Shepherds and other sporting/working breeds. Our dogs are at the best of health and 'adoptable' status when posted. We concentrate on giving them the best nutrition, care, training and behavioral assessments to assure best adoption placement. Luvable Furry Friends Rescue also serves as a resource for individuals and agencies searching for service/working dog candidates.
We rescue regionally as well as from southern states. We adopt out to all areas of Ohio and Western Pennsylvania
Additional adoption info
Our adoption fees are $350 - $400 per dog. Price differences are due to age as well as overall costs involved in care. Puppy adoption prices will be more, especially if we raise from birth to adoption age due to prenatal care of Mom and additional supplements used to bolster immune systems and get to robust health. We require all applicants to complete a 'pre-adoption' application, which can be scanned and emailed back to LFFR. After review, conversations with applicant/s and checking of references, we will schedule a meet & greet as well as home check.
