Do Pit Bulls sleep a lot?
Yep, Pit Bulls definitely sleep a lot — and it’s totally normal for them. Even though they’re a higher-energy, athletic breed, they still clock in a ton of nap hours. Similar to other dog breeds, they’ll often sleep for 12 to 14 hours a day, easily. Puppies and seniors tend to sleep even more (see our puppy sleep schedule ). Most adult dogs, regardless of energy level, sleep for about half the day.
