Hi! I’m Jackson, and I’m the perfect companion you’ve been looking for. I’m a 4-year-old, 24 lb Border terrier mix with a sweet and fun personality. I am quiet and polite, and love to meet new people. I like other dogs and I don’t have an opinion on cats – I just let them do their thing and I do mine. I am also cool with kids as long as they don’t rush in to meet me. I just pretty much love everybody! I do get excited if you’ve been gone awhile and will greet you with enthusiasm but I calm down within a few minutes.
My favorite hobbies are snuggling, watching the world through the window, snuggling, taking naps, going for walks, snuggling, playing fetch and did I mention I like snuggling? I am really calm and quiet in the car so I can enjoy the scenery. Walking is exciting, so I pull at first but then I settle down.
I am proud to say I don’t chew on shoes, furniture or anything else that I’m not supposed to chew. I’m housebroken, too, so I can be left out in the house without a worry while you’re gone, but I’m also good about staying in my kennel, if I have to, while you are away.
My family had to leave me when they moved, so I am in search of a new home in need of a funny, furry guy who likes to cuddle. You won’t be lonely with me around; I will check on you by lightly resting my chin on your leg and looking up at you with my big brown eyes.

Jackson is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
