Meet sweet Ginger. A delightful 6yr. old female Labrador Retriever She loves to cheer her brother Skipper on when he plays catch and is his #1 fan for sure! She and her brother were discarded at a rural shelter where they waited to be rescued. Lucky for these amazing dogs rescue stepped in as talk about euthanizing dogs began because of the overcrowded conditions.... very sad with so many great dogs needing homes. Ginger is well-mannered and walks on a leash well. We have found out that Ginger LOVES the water even in the winter! She enjoys sitting in the shallow end on the first step and taking a swim once in a while. She is dog-friendly with all other dogs and is GREAT with the human toddler (3yr old) that also shares a home with her. Ginger sleeps soundless throughout the night and is housebroken. It would be best if she and her brother Skipper could stay together, however, in their best interest in finding forever homes, I will consider separating them for the right situation.
