When Mellow's former owner called us for an appt to bring her to the shelter, he said Mellow was a purebred Lab, which she definitely is not. We believe she's a Lab mixed with some type of herding breed, possible an Australian Shepherd. But whatever she is..... she's adorable!
Mellow weighs in at about 80 pounds of pure love. She adores attention and loves to go on walks. She also plays with the other dogs in the Playroom and likes to sniff the cats.
Her former owner was working construction and decided he no longer had time for his two dogs, so he brought them here to the shelter to find families who can give them the attention they deserve.
You can meet Mellow Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. She has already been neutered, heartwom tested, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped, so she's ready for a new home.
