My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous Rottweiler is Sassy. Sassy was born January 12th, 2015 so she isn’t even 2 years old yet. She weighs 65 pounds now and could be 75-80 pounds when she matures and fills out.
Sassy started her life being sold by a breeder with her sister Sissy. The people who purchased them from the breeder quickly fell on hard times and could not afford to feed themselves or their dogs. Both girls were emaciated when they were owner surrendered. The girls were chained up in a yard with log chains and had very little attention. These girls are thriving in their foster home. They love attention from people and like cuddling close and having their bellies rubbed.
Many of the Rottweiler breed characteristics fit Sassy. She is good natured, obedient, and intelligent. It’s clear nobody worked with Sassy as a young pup. Sassy knows how to sit but has the typical fifteen second attention span of most puppies. She is eager to please as soon as he understands what it is you want her to do. Sassy is learning to walk nicely by your side on a leash but isn’t there all the time yet. There are squirrels and bunnies to watch and she loses focus because she is still a baby and doesn’t have much life experience off a chain yet.
Sassy and her new family would greatly benefit from a basic obedience class. She needs someone committed to working with her and finishing her training. Sassy needs a fenced yard to safely run and play. Her forever home should not have a cat, Rottweilers usually think they are fun squeaky toys. Any children in her home need to be over 12 so she doesn’t knock them over by accident.
Sassy is house trained and crate trained. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm tested and microchipped.
