Teddy has only had 2 homes in his 12 1/2 years. Due to an unfortunate life change Teddy is now looking for his third furever home. He is a wonderful dog and is so sweet. He will jump up on the couch and want his tubby rubbed and he will lay there and watch TV with you.
When Teddy came to foster here at The Pom Palace he was drinking constantly and peeing and panting. After testing it is believed that he has Cushings disease. This is entirely controllable with medication and diet. Right how is on a HIGH protein diet. VERY little kibble and raw/high protein canned food for dinner. His medication is called Trilostane and runs $47 per month. Plus he has Dandelion Root everyday so this has helped control his condition!
He loves riding in the car and going for walks and gets along well with other dogs. Teddy also loves loves treats, but they must be high protein and no grains or carbs. He would also do very well with a doggy door.
Teddy has A LOT of love to give the right home and a pom can live up to 10-19 years. Will you be the home that will give him the furever home that he needs? Teddy’s weight also needs to be maintained and he needs to be on the lean side,
Snacks:
Jerky, Papa Psuka snacks and turkey claw leg chews. Canteloupe, watermelon, cucumbers
