We think our newest AmsterDog must be from the West Coast because he is like totally chill dude. Say hello to our 58 lb. mellow man, Verde. He's looking for his forever home to kick his feet up, cuddle with his human after some low key playing outside and chew on his bone while you binge on Netflix. This guy would be the main act at the indie rock version of The Westminster Dog show, melting hearts with his ridiculous smile, cool-guy cuteness, and giant heart big enough for all his fans. Friendly, affectionate, a little shy at first, mellow, gentle and sweet as they come. What's even more awesome about this dude is that he is still social and playful with other dogs. He's house broken, great on his leash, not a bird chaser, LOVES people, likes other dogs and cool if you take his bone from him, he will be like "That's cool bro". Even after being ditched at a cemetery which Verde thought was "way bogus" he let the lady who found him take him home and was even super chill with her inspecting his ears, which in the doggie world means top-level trust. Like a surfer catching a big wave, we new we needed to save Verde from the shelter he had to be dropped off at. And now, we need to get Verde a foster and more importantly forever home ASAP!!!!!!! He was put in boarding which stresses out most dogs but for a laid-back pup like Verde that's like throw a country singer into a mosh pit--way stressful. We love all our dogs but the extra special thing about Verde is that, while he loves his walks and play time, he definitely has some California doggie line in him somewhere because he is one cool dude.
