ANABELLE is a three-year, three-month old female tiger and calico cat. Franchesca is an almost four year old tortoiseshell female cat. Their former owner had several cats, and was relocating. Unfortunately she could not take all the cats, so Anabelle and Franchesca, the bonded two of the household, came to us. Anabelle is very playful, and will roll over multiple times, gently grabbing at your hand to play with her and give her attention. Franchesca, the more reserved of the two, ambles over to join in, and we laugh because Anabelle runs interference on that ploy, wanting all the attention to herself! The girls are extremely close, and will cuddle, sleep and groom together. Anabelle is cuteness on feet, and Franchesca has stunning markings and is one beautiful girl. At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 12 pm to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 1 pm. Very young kittens are in foster homes, not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting a young kitten please fill out our adoption application.
We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon. Same day adoptions available to those who bring a completed adoption application, a current lease or proof of home ownership, and up to date veterinary records. We hope to see you there!
