CLEO is a two-year-old female calico cat. Cleo was found in the fields of a farm, and in tow were her four kittens. All five looked worse for wear: thin, dirty, and very frightened. Cleo’s kittens are settled into loving homes, and now it’s Cleo’s turn! She was a great mama, and now that she’s a free agent again, her personality has bloomed. Cleo is petite, and she’s quite the conversationalist. Cleo is still a baby herself, and a romping game of play with her human is always welcomed. At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 12 pm to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 1 pm. Very young kittens are in foster homes, not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting a young kitten please fill out our adoption application.
We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon. Same day adoptions available to those who bring a completed adoption application, a current lease or proof of home ownership, and up to date veterinary records. We hope to see you there!
