My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brantley!

Quick Facts:
Breed: Pitbull X
Estimated Birthday: 1/1/2016
Size: 49 #

Meet Brantley, a distinguished senior pit bull with a heart full of love and a little spring still in his step. Brantley may have a few gray hairs, but don’t let that fool you—if he spots something he wants, he can leap sky-high like a pup half his age!

This sweet, gentle boy is hoping to find a forever home where he can spend his golden years being truly spoiled. Brantley dreams of being the only pet, soaking up all the attention, treats, and belly rubs you have to offer. His ideal home would have someone around most of the time—he loves company and thrives on companionship.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend who will cherish every moment by your side, Brantley is ready to jump right into your heart.

**Brantley does have crate anxiety which we are actively working on. He can go short stints in a crate but then feels like his people have left him all over again. He’s currently doing better in an indestructible crate, but actually is (mostly) reliable outside of the crate when you're not home.

If you are looking for a best friend who loves to go on car rides, walks, play ball, and nap peacefully while you're catching up on the latest Yellowstone episode, Brantley is your guy.

Additional adoption info

To begin the adoption process, please complete the adoption application online.

Please see our adoptable pets page for a list of the current pets that we have for adoption.

All interested applicants must complete an adoption application for the pet that you are interested in. Applications are considered in the order in which they are received.

One of our volunteers will review the application and contact you via email or phone to ask any questions that we might have. We also reserve the right to perform a home visit for any adoption. During a home visit, a Catering to Cats and Dogs volunteer will come to your house to see where your new pet will live.

If you are not sure which one of our adoptable pets would be right for you, please contact us and we would be happy to advise you as to which pet may be a match, just let us know what you are looking for.

Once your application is approved and a match is found, you will be required to sign an adoption contract and pay the recovery fee
